The Mansion
Built by the award winning builders Cheateau Constructions, “Symingtonia” is like heaven on earth to all who have experienced it and who cherish luxury in a semi-rural private setting.
As you pull up under the expansive portico, you will step out of your vehicle and walk through the 2.5 metre double gold leaf doors and immediately you are captivated by the Double Crema Marfil staircase with gold leafed banisters. This amazing staircase is a work of art in itself and it wraps around a massive gold Presciola chandelier in the centre.
“How many gold candles are in the chandelier?” you ask yourself as you look up and start counting. For the record, there are 60!
The upper levels can be explored by ascending the twin circular stairs or by taking the lift if you prefer.

Your chefs and cooking staff can make use of the separate galley kitchen/pantry which services the Grand Ballroom, Champagne Bar and Formal Dining Room. This kitchen was designed with events in mind, and it is here where you will find a Miele oven, commercial grade dishwasher and refrigeration, sink and adjoining walk in pantry.
During your stay at “Symingtonia” you can impress your guests in the vast entertaining areas the mansion has to offer: the Grand Ballroom, Formal Meet and Greet Champagne Bar, Formal Dining Area, Piano Room with Baby Grand and Old English Bar/Pub with adjoining Adult Games Room.
Upon arriving at “Symingtonia”, you will greet your guests in the amazing foyer and lead them through the expansive, marble lined hallways to the Formal Meet and Greet Champagne Bar. Overlooking the front garden, this intimate room seats six and adjoins the Formal Dining Room and Grand Ballroom. It is the perfect place for you to make your guests feel right at home with drinks and Hors d’oeuvres.
For larger events, you would bypass the Formal Meet and Greet Champagne Bar and take your guests to The Grand Ballroom. Grand is an understatement in describing this room. The Grand Ballroom is an experience in itself and was inspired by Palais de Versailles.
One word describes it: impressive!
Look up and you will see the Schonbek Crystal Chandeliers with Swarovski crystals. Immediately, you are embraced by the grandeur of the room. The floor to ceiling wood paneling with gold leaf detailing, the Louis XIV inspired furnishings and artwork and the soft cushioned Lounges.
Treat your guests to an incredible dining experience in the Formal Dining area complete with Louis XIV styled artwork. The French Antique Chandelier is from the late nineteenth century and with 24 candles really is the centerpiece of this room and completes it beautifully. The Brushbox- heringbone Parquetry with big block border and 2 inch Satin Ash marble inlay possesses a wow factor and really adds to the grandeur of this impressive space.
After enjoying a feast to tantalise every taste bud and delight all the senses, you may guide your guests to The Grand Ballroom for mingling or dancing, or you could invite them into Piano Room with Baby Grand for an intimate musical performance.

And it is here where the Old English Bar/Pub just has to be mentioned. “Symingtonia” is a place where you can really let your imagination take you anywhere, and upon entering the Old English Bar/Pub, you’ll feel like you’ve just stepped into a homely pub in downtown London.
With its half Jarrah wall paneling, Chesterfield leather lounges, Jarrah bar tables, leather bar stools and sports memorabilia on the walls, the pub has such a rich, traditional atmosphere which sets the real English pubs apart from the rest.
As the short or long term “Symingtonia” resident, this is your personal pub to entertain in!
It is completely fitted out with bar tables, keg, taps and refrigeration unit – so everybody who visits can enjoy a pint or two. And for that real pub atmosphere, there is a surround sound stereo, 50 inch flat screen TV, 3m x 2m roll away projector screen and digital juke box.
The pub also has two billiards/pool/snooker tables, three collector pinball machines and one tabletop arcade game to keep everybody having fun!
And for those guests who feel like stepping out with their pint, the Old English Bar/Pub opens out onto the a rose garden adjoining BBQ Area with its 16-seater casual dining suites and amazing views of the grounds. It’s the ideal spot for those laid-back summer cook outs and parties!

Plenty of Good Times With Your Family…
Your day no doubt will begin with breakfast, which will be prepared in the expansive main kitchen which is equipped with nothing but the best Miele appliances. The kitchen also has a double fridge and two dishwashers, making food preparation so easy!
The most experienced chef will feel right at home here, because everything is so easily accessible in the generous-sized cupboards, drawers and walk-in pantry. The black galaxy granite island bench makes food preparation an absolute breeze.
The kitchen also features a 5 seater breakfast bar which opens onto the impressive dining hall and atrium.
The dining hall situated in the 10 metre high, sun filled atrium really is the centre hub of the house.
Entertain your family or guests at the 16 seat marble and iron dining table or simply relax in front of the Italian Marble fire place with original Gianni Versace Rug.
The 3 metre bi-fold glass doors open onto the back garden with feature fountain and offer plenty of natural light, which gives this space a very happy and lively tone.
The most in-formal room at Symingtonia is the family room- designed for total relaxation. After the hardest day, you can simply sink into the horseshoe shaped 16 seater lounge to watch a movie or dvd on the 50 inch flat screen.
This room was made for the ultimate veg-out!
It opens out onto the Tuscan courtyard which was designed with tranquility in mind. The dual water feature is perfect for zoning out by, so feel free to relax in the day chairs positioned under the Japanese Maple tree nearby.
The kids aren’t forgotten either in this laid back, family area because they’ll be kept occupied by the children’s playground – kitted out for maximum kid fun!
Speaking of maximum kid fun, “Symingtonia” also has its own Children’s Games Room, which opens out onto the kids playground and back garden. Described by kids as “totally awesome” and “out of this world”, the games room includes pinball machines, arcade games, air hockey table, table tennis and a sitting area.
While the kids are chilling out in the games room, why not take in a movie!
If you feel like enjoying a total movie experience with your loved ones, you have to check out the Theatre. Here you can enjoy your favourite movies by getting comfy in any of the nine cinema seats with cup holders. The seats are configured in a triple tiered layout, giving you an experience, similar to that you would enjoy in Gold Class at the cinema and naturally you get the fabulous surround-sound experience thanks to the Advanced AMX cinema system and 3 m x 2m high screen.
To top it all off, your family’s nanny is also taken care of with the Nanny’s Quarters, also on the ground floor. This state-of-the-art facility includes two separate bedrooms – one of which has its own kitchenette and bar fridge. Both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms as well.

Get your days off to a great start with a workout in the Gymnasium/Fitness Room.
